Web development is an industry barely out of its infancy – to think, less than 15 years ago Web developers were unheard of! Yet Web development requires a lot of skill and experience to be done right - particularly high end development (that’s the kind we do).

As a result, we’ve found it a major challenge to find qualified talent to keep up with the demands of the market. Consider also the fact that we’re in the Midwest, so those who do develop design and programming skills tend to move out of our area to head to one of the coasts.

In an effort to overcome this challenge, The Karcher Group has started TKG Institute. The Institute is an opportunity for those who are new to the workforce or interested in Web-related fields to learn the skills of the Web Development trade as well as gain some exposure to the opportunities that exist right here in Northeast Ohio.

The icing on the cake is that this is helping us to grow our own future workforce by giving them the experience they need.
