These four guys - James, Josh, Josh and Colin (all TKG employees) — typically spend three evenings a week here at TKG teaching our students all the ins and outs of web design and programming.  Please take a few moments to read more about them.

James Golden, VP Web Development:

James Golden

James is a nine-year veteran of TKG and knows just about everything (well, not everything, but close enough) when it comes to Web development.  He gained his experience by designing and coding literally hundreds of sites for The Karcher Group.

He specializes in developing sites that have optimal user experience, information architecture and graphic design, all while ensuring they adhere to Web standards, accessibility, and usability guidelines.  He also speaks on Web Accessibility and Usability at TKG’s search engine optimization seminar series and at Search Engine Watch Live.  Really, learn how to develop a Web site from James, and you’ll be a pro.

Josh Tummel, Web Application Developer

Josh Tummel

Josh is a member of our stellar web development team. He’s been dabbling in the internet scene since he was in 7th grade. After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas high school, he earned a degree from Stark State in programming/design. He’s currently attending Stark State to earn a second degree, this time in e-commerce.

Josh McDermitt, Web Developer

Josh McDermitt

Josh is the first hire from our TKG Institute “After Hours” program. From the get-go, Josh excelled in whatever projects we sent his way. In fact, Josh did so well with the small projects we gave him that we offered him a summer internship. In August 2007, we offered him a full-time staff position.

Colin Brimfield, HTML Programmer

Colin Brimfield

Colin is our second TKG Institute graduate to be promoted to a full-time web designer position. Colin came into the TKG Institute program already knowing his way around a website pretty well, so we were thrilled when a full-time position opened up. As someone who looked high and low for a good web-related opportunity, Colin says he’s finally found a great one at TKG. He especially enjoys the atmosphere and work environment.
